2. John Rutherford . Son of Archibald Rutherford. Born Approx 1817 in Scotland. Died 29 May 1896 in Harvey.

      John died 29 May 1896, age 83 years.   Probably buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery without grave marker.

    The New Brunswick Census of 1861, Parish of Manners Sutton, Division 1, lists all living together:    John Rutherford, Head, 44, Scotch, Farmer; Thomas Rutherford, brother, 42, Scotch, farmer; Alison Rutherford, sister, 40, Scotch; and Alison Rutherford, niece, 15, Scotch.
