    She married Frank Martin, 6 Jul 1891 in Harvey. Born 2 May 1872 in Rusagonis, NB. Died 25 Jun 1934 in Rollingdam.

 

    Witnesses to marriage were Thomas Johnston and Annie Burrell.

    She first married James Swan, son of Henry "Harry" Swan & Jane Piercy, 19 Apr 1893 in Harvey. Born 25 Apr 1867 in Harvey Sta.,N.B. Died 17 Nov 1894 in Harvey Sta. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Religion Presbyterian.

 

    She second married William E. Doherty, 20 Oct 1896 in Saint John Co., NB.

 

    They had the following children:

30. Victoria Burrell . Daughter of Isaac Burrell & Nancy Christie. Born 8 Feb 1875 in Harvey. Died 17 Jun 1930. Buried in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.

 

    (Other birth date is 8 Mar 1875, and death date 13 Jun 1930.   Not sure which is correct.)

 

   She married George "Nelson" Little, son of John Little & Cherry Jane Embleton, 26 Apr 1893 in York Co., NB. Born 22 Mar 1869 in Harvey. Died 20 Dec 1949. Buried in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.

 

    Witnesses to marriage were James E. Little and Celia Little.

 

    Nelson and Victoria lived in McAdam, and had seven children:   George Valmore, Ivan Ambrose, Lavina, Emma Alberta, Olive Doris, Bertha Viola and Ephriam.

31. John "Howard" Burrell . Son of Isaac Burrell & Nancy Christie. Born 6 May 1878 in Harvey. Died 4 Feb 1935 in McAdam. Buried in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.

    He married Clara L. "Carrie" McLaughlin, daughter of Frank McLaughlin & Annie Scott, 2 May 1906 in Charlotte Co., NB. Born 8 Mar 1891 in Honeydale, Charlotte Co., NB. Died 10 Nov 1998 in Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam. Buried 13 Nov 1998 in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.

    SPENCER, Clara (Carrie)

    At the Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam, NB, Clara (Carrie) (McLaughlin) (Burrell, Wilson) Spencer of McAdam, NB.   Born March 8, 1891, daughter of the late Frank and Annie (Scott) McLaughlin.

 

    Survived by one son, Guy Burrell and his wife Winnie of Saint John, NB, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.   Predeceased by four daughter, Cora Bradford, Vera Kierstead, Annie Burrell and Fern Sherman; two sons, Frank Burrell and Durwood Burrell; five sisters, Jessie Scott, Rebeka Scott, Ora McLaughlin, Elmyra James and Jennie Wilcox; two brothers, Fred and Harry McLaughlin.

 

    Resting at the S. O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB, from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13, 1998 at 12 noon with Rev. David Ingalls officiating.   Interment at Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB.   Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.   In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Wauklehegan Manor or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
