107. Russel Alexander Cleghorn. Son of Robert "Bob" Cleghorn & Mary Jane James. Born 18 Nov 1900 in South Tweedside. Died 19 Oct 1971 in Tweedside. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

Russel and Iona lived in South Tweedside, and had four children.
Russel died 19 Oct 1971, age 70 yr 11 mo 1 day, at his home, Tweedside.
He married Iona Mildred Bell, daughter of George Edward "Ed" Bell & Hazel Alice Simmons. Born 17 May 1918 in South Tweedside. Died 23 Jan 1990 in Harvey Community Hospital. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

Iona M. Cleghorn
The funeral service for Iona Mildred Cleghorn, widow of the late Russell Cleghorn, was held at Swan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Dewar officiating.

Born in South Tweedside, she was the daughter of the late G. Edward and Hazel (Simmons) Bell. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs M. W. Smith Swan (Cynthia), Prince George, BC, Sharon Nutley, Edmonton, Alberta, Mrs Thomas West (Sheila), Nasonworth, Mary Alice Cleghorn, Harvey; two brothers John Bell and wife Marjorie, South Tweedside, Ronald Bell and wife Betty, Prince William; two sisters, Orie McCullough, Manners Sutton, Bernice Haynes, South Tweedside and six grandchildren, Marty, Duane and Dale Swan, Leon and Kelly Lazenby and Lisa Bell; several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church and Harvey Golden Age Senior Citizen Club.
Pallbearers were Dale and Reid Cleghorn, Neil and Paul McCullough, Randy Johnston and Wetzel Swan. Entombment took place at Harvey Community Vault with interment in Harvey Community Cemetery in the spring.

They had the following children:
