109. Stewart Thatcher Cleghorn. Son of Robert "Bob" Cleghorn & Mary Jane James. Born 14 Oct 1905 in South Tweedside. Died 13 Apr 1986 in Saint John Regional Hospital. Buried in Grafton Cemetery. Occupation Carpenter.

From The Telegraph Journal, 15 Apr 1986:
CLEGHORN -- At Saint John Regional Hospital on April 13, 1986, Stewart Thatcher Cleghorn of Grafton, New Brunswick; survived by his wife, Dorothy (Messer) Cleghorn, two daughters, one sister, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Resting at MacMullin Funeral Home, 188 Connell Street, Woodstock. Funeral will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday with service at 3:30 pm, Rev. A. L. Howe officiating assisted by Rev. John Bartol. Interment in the Grafton Cemetery.

He married Dorothy Mabel Marguerite Messer, daughter of Walter Messer & Elsie Mary Stewart. Born 20 Jun 1918. Died 21 Mar 1990 in Saint John Regional Hospital. Buried in Grafton Cemetery.

CLEGHORN
Dorothy, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 21, 1990, Dorothy M. Cleghorn, wife of the late Stewart Cleghorn of Grafton, Carleton County. Survived by two daughters Mrs Ronald Lockhart (Marion) of Grafton and Dianne Cleghorn of Debec, four grandchildren Larry, Wayne, Mark and Nicholas, two great grandchildren Trevor and Jamie.


Resting at the MacMullin Funeral Home, 188 Connell Street, Woodstock, with visiting on Friday and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Grafton United Baptist Church on Sunday, March 25 at 3 pm, with Rev. Eric Davidson officiating. Interment in Grafton Cemetery. If so desired donations may be made to the Woodstock St. John Ambulance or the New Brunswick Heart Foundation.
