21. Robert "Bob" Cleghorn.
Son of George Cleghorn & Agnes Hogg. Born 25 Jul 1862 in South Tweedside. Died 30 Apr 1917. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation Farmer.
Robert and Mary lived on the homestead on the hill in South Tweedside. They had ten children.
He married Mary Jane James, daughter of Edward "Ned" James & Janet "Jeanette" Wood, 26 Jun 1895 in Charlotte Co., NB. Born 28 Jul 1874 in Tweedside. Died 17 Sep 1936 in Tweedside. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

Mrs M. Cleghorn Dead
Well Knows Resident of South Tweedside, Ill only Two Weeks.
South Tweedside, NB, Sept 21 -- This community was deeply grieved on Thursday, Sept 17th when the angel of death claimed from its midst, Mrs Mary Cleghorn, after an illness of two weeks.


The late Mrs Cleghorn was a woman of fine qualities, generous and patient, and a general favorite with all who knew her, old and young alike, and her death has left a vacancy that will be hard to fill. She leaves to mourn their loss seven sons, Herbie of Durham Bridge, Ray of Woodstock, and Harry, Russell, Stewart, Chester and Glen, at home and one daughter, Helen.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon from her late home where prayers were said by Rev Mr Kirkland to Knox Presbyterian Church, Harvey, where service was conducted by Mr Kirkland which was most comforting to the relataives and others who gathered to pay their last respects to deceased and sympathy for the bereaved family.


The pall bearers were sons of the deceased, Herbie, Ray, Russell, Staewart, Chester, and Glen.
Surviving are five sisters, Mrs D. McCullough, Harvey, Mrs Henry Wentworth, Bangor, Me., Mrs Oswald Martin, and Mrs Della Martin, Ontario, Mrs Harry Edwards, New York, and six brothers, Richard and Thomas James of St. Stephen, Edward and Cliffort James, Tweedside, Peter James Fredericton, and Frank in the West.

They had the following children:
