Copied from newspaper obituary - 1943:

Died at Harvey.   Mrs John G. Coburn Was Well Known Woman, Prominent in Church and Community.

Harvey Station, N.B., April 27 -- The death of Mrs Margaret Ann Coburn, widow of John G. Coburn, at the home of her daughter, Mrs Cecil Grieve, on April 19th, removed one of the oldest and most highly respected citizens of this community.   Had she lived until October 3rd, she would have been 93 years of age.   For the past few years she has been in poor health but always maintained her interest in the work of the church, W.M.S. and the Red Cross, to which she always contributed generously.   For some time it had been her custom to have passages of Scripture read at the meetings of the W.M.S. and a few days before her death she sent her usual request which was complied with.

Mrs Coburn was a daughter of John and Elizabeth (Chambers) Nesbitt and was born at Harvey.   She was the last remaining member of the family.   Her husband passed away May 23rd, 1901.   Since that time she had made her home with her daughter, Mrs Harry C. Swan.   Last fall she went to visit her daughter, Mrs Grieve, where she became ill and had been confined to her bed since then.

Of a family of ten children, five survive her.   Mrs Swan and Mrs Grieve, and three sons, Thomas, Matthew and Charles Coburn, all of Brownville Junction, Maine.   The late Councillor Frank Coburn was a son, also Alexander Coburn, who gave his life in the Great War.   There are 26 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs Coburn was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, a life member of he Women's Missionary Society and was for years a teacher in the Sunday Schools at Coburn and Manners Sutton.   She was a woman of great kindliness and was loved by old and young.

    They had the following children:

101   i.   George Harvey Lesley Coburn

102   ii.   John "Franklin" Chambers Coburn
