4. John Cowe. Son of David Cowe & Helen Sharp. Born 1796. Christen 15 Apr 1796 in Hutton.

John Cowe and Elizabeth Watson had seven children. All remained in agriculture, some as Farm Stewards, and continued to live in the general area. (Information from Fred Kennington, Dec 2007).

He married Elizabeth Watson, 18 Mar 1816 in Whitsome.
