122. Mina Isabel Little. Daughter of James Lewis Little & Annie F. Parker. Born 5 Jun 1894 in York Mills, NB. Died 28 May 1983 in Harvey Community Hospital. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

 

    From The Telegraph Journal, 19 Jul 1983:

    Mrs Mina Little

    Harvey -- The death of Mrs Mina Little occurred at the Harvey Community Hospital after a lengthy illness.  She was 88.

    She was born in Harvey, a daughter of the late James and Annie (Parker) Little.  Surviving are two sisters, Mrs Tressa Briggs of Saint John, and Mrs Leonard Thomas (Elta) of Oklahoma; six daughters, Mrs Libbey Vail (Tressa), Mrs Lester Embleton (Mabel), Elizabeth, all of York Mills; Mrs Edgar Dorcas (Ethel) of Christie Ridge, Mrs Carman Little (Sylvia) of Grand Bay, Mrs Allan Hood (Roxie) of Magaguadavic; two sons, Elwood and Claude, both of York Mills; 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  Her husband, Lorne, died in 1974, and a son, Amos, in 1947.

    Funeral service was held from Swan's Funeral HOme, with Rev. David Chesney officiating.

 

    She married Lorne Amos Little, son of Amos Little & Elizabeth Lesley "Lizzie" Coburn (link to Coburn family pages), 8 Jun 1910 in York Co., NB. Born 12 May 1886 in Little Settlement, Harvey. Died 5 Oct 1974 in York Mills, NB. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation Lumbering.

Also in photograph four of their children; Vivian Fredrica Little (b. 20 May 1887) ; Amy Ora Little (b. 27 Sept 1888); Tressa Jane Little (b. 25 June, 1890); Mina Isabel Little (b. 28 May, 1894).
