    From newspaper item - 1935:

    Lindsay-Torrance

St. Stephen, Sept 5 -- An interesting wedding took place at the residence of Mr and Mrs Robert H. Torrance, St. Stephen, on Saturday afternoon, Aug 31st, when their daughter, Margaret Hazel became the bride of William George Lindsay of McAdam.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. B. D. Earle of the Kirk United Church in the presence of relatives and a few close friends.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was most attractive in a smart costume of powder blue crepe with a hat to match, and matching accessories.  Her flowers were sweetpeas and baby's breath.  There were no attendants.

A buffet luncheon was served at the close of the ceremony which took place at one o'clock.  The house was attractively decorated in fall flowers and greenery.  Mrs Lindsay changed to a brown travel tweed suit, brown felt hat, brown shoes and bag, and the happy couple left by motor for a honeymoon in Maine and New Brunswick.  On their return Mr and Mrs Lindsay will make their home in McAdam.
