13. Margaret Jane "Jennie" Hay . Daughter of John "Jack" Hay & Elizabeth "Lizzie" Dorcas. Born 5 Feb 1867 in Harvey Sta., York Co., NB. Christen in Harvey Presbyterian Church. Died 26 Nov 1946. Buried in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.

 

    She married Allen E. Bartlett, son of Amos Hitchings Bartlett & Ann C. Connick, 28 Jul 1886 in Presbyterian Manse, St. Stephen. Born 1865 in Bartlett Mills, Charlotte Co., NB. Died 13 Oct 1948 in NB. Buried in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery. Occupation Railway Engineer.

    From Church records:    Ellen Hay d. 10 Nov 1905, age 38 yr., consumption

 

15. Mary Isabella "Bella" Hay . Daughter of John "Jack" Hay & Elizabeth "Lizzie" Dorcas. Born 11 Nov 1869 in Harvey. Died 17 Nov 1909 in Harvey. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

 

    Twins born and died 17 Nov, 1909, when Isabella also died after giving birth to them, at the age of forty years.

    She married Robert Moffitt, son of Andrew Moffitt & Margaret "Jane" Piercy, 5 Oct 1887 in York Co., NB By J. A. McLean, Presbyterian . Born 4 Apr 1865 in Harvey, York Co, NB. Died 31 Jan 1930. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation Farmer.

 

    Witnesses to marriage were John Messer and Maggie Moffatt.

    Retires today after 39 years with CPR.

    Alexander Hay, well known McAdam resident, today marks his last day of service with the CPR. Mr Hay has been employed in the car repair department and is being superannuated after thirty-nine years with the company.

    Deaths - Hay:   At McAdam, Sun., March 12, Alexander William Hay, aged 66 years.

    He married Elizabeth Piercy "Lizzie" Wood, daughter of George Wood & Margaret "Maggie" Piercy, 22 Aug 1900 in Harvey. Born 10 Apr 1873 in Tweedside. Died 25 Dec 1937 in McAdam. Buried in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.

 

    They had the following children:
