7. Mark Gray b. 1 bp. 2 November 1821 Cheviot Street U.P., Wooler. Son of Andrew Grey and Mary Watson.  The family was resident at Torvilaws, parish of Wooler.   Mark was recorded at Houlton, Aroostook County, Maine in 1850 as a labourer aged 30, b. Ireland [sic], with wife Matilda, 28, also b. Ireland

Mark Gray was still in Houlton in 1880, age 56, no occupation, with wife Matilda, 52, b. Maine of Irish parentage, son Samuel b. Maine aged 26, tinware and stove dealer, and Robert Gray, b. Ireland, 68, labourer, possibly his brother Robert with the birthplace incorrectly recorded.

Mark d. 1884 and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton.

Married Matilda COCHRAN b. Linneus, Maine 1828, d. 1903.
