Son of Peter Wood & Mary Moffitt. b 16 Apr 1865, Harvey. d 30 Apr 1931.Allen is John "Allan" Messer. Son of Walter Messer & Isabella Speedy. Born 15 May 1875 in Harvey. Christen in Harvey Presbyterian Church. Died 29 Sep 1966 in Harvey.

4279. Undated tin-type image of five men. The only identified one is "Grandpa" in the middle back row.Grandpa is Peter Wood, son of Peter Wood & Janet "Jessie" Cleghorn (b 13 Jul 1829 in Roxburghshire, Scotland. d 15 Oct 1897, Harvey).

4287. Undated photograph of Margaret Ann "Maggie" Messer. Daughter of Walter Messer & Isabella Speedy. Born 17 Jul 1862 in Harvey. Died 10 Aug 1956 and three of her children. The children are most likely: Minnie May Haines, Harold Dow Haines and Estella H. Haines. This identification is likely because her youngest twin children; Roland Theodore Haines and Florence Dorothea Haines are obviously absent.
This photograph was also found in the Darrell Messer Album. The Photographer was also visble in the Messer album image: CLAUDE COLPITTS PHOTO.

4290. Undated photograph of "Fanny Swan"
J Swan Hall commented (31 May 2009): "Fanny Swan. She was Fannie P. Rodgers, born in Fredericton 1876, d. 1956, married John "Arthur" Walter Swan 1878 - 1958. Fannie was a school teacher in Tweedside before marriage to Arthur. (Similar picture in Swan book.)"
