    Retires today after 39 years with CPR.

    Alexander Hay, well known McAdam resident, today marks his last day of service with the CPR. Mr Hay has been employed in the car repair department and is being superannuated after thirty-nine years with the company.

30. Susan Hay . Daughter of Jane Hay. Born 14 Feb 1861 in Harvey Settlement. Died 14 May 1937 in Paddockwood, Sask. Buried in Paddockwood Cemetery.

    In marriage records her name is spelled "Susannah", John's residence is Williamsburg, and witnesses to marriage were Mary J. Craigs and Mrs J. Melville.

    She married John Albert "Jack" Craig, son of James Craigs & Mary Hume, 26 Jul 1880 in Taymouth, York Co., NB By Peter Melville, Presbyterian . Born 3 Dec 1856 in Harvey. Died 20 Dec 1947 in Moose Jaw, Sask. Buried in Paddockwood Cemetery.

34. Robert Little . Son of Matthew Little & Isabel Hay. Born 8 Sep 1852 in Harvey. Died 10 Sep 1927. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

    He married Christina Coburn, daughter of Thomas Cockburn (Coburn) & Nancy Johnston, 1 Dec 1873 in Harvey, York Co. By Rev. Samuel Johnson. Born 22 Jun 1855. Died 16 Oct 1948. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

    From Daily Telegraph, 4 Dec 1873:   "Married Harvey, 1st inst., by Rev Samuel Johnson, Robert Little and Miss Christina Cockburn, all of Harvey."

    Witnesses to marriage were Alexander Little and Elizabeth Coburn.
