9. Margaret Jane Montgomery . Daughter of William Montgomery & Isabella Dorcas. Born 1845 in Harvey. Christen 24 Aug 1845 in Harvey By Rev. Daniel McCurdy.

 

10. Nancy Agnes "Ann" Dorcas . Daughter of James Dorcas & Rebecca Hood. Born 20 Jul 1855 in Stanley, York Co., NB.

     After her mother died, Nancy Agnes was raised by her aunts Nancy and Margaret Hood.   (See "William Dorcas Genealogy" by The Nashwaak Bicentennial Assoc.)

    Witnesses to her marriage to William Hood were Mary McDonald and Mary Wandless.

She married William Hood, 21 Jul 1880 in York Co., NB By Rev. A. J. Mowatt, Presbyterian. Born 1862 in Stanley, York Co., NB.

 

    They had the following children:

  19   i.   Henry Scott Douglas "Harry" Hood

  20   ii.   John Ernest Hood

 

11. Margaret Rebecca "Maggie" Dorcas . Daughter of James Dorcas & Isabella Buchanan. Born 25 Dec 1870. Died 1947. Buried in Williamsburg Cemetery.

    She married William S. "Bill" Dorcas, son of Aaron Dorcas & Elizabeth Blizzard. Born 12 Jul 1861. Died 1925. Buried in Williamsburg Cemetery.

     William S. Dorcas and Margaret R. Dorcas had fourteen children:   Isobel "Belle", Jane "Jennie", Amos Albert, James Harold, Margaret Elizabeth, Clara Irene, Annie, Douglas Duncan, Sarah, Jessie, Della, Frank Wilfred, and Arthur.   Information on this family is in "William Dorcas Genealogy" by The Nashwaak Bicentennial Assoc., beginning on page 9.

 

12. E. Jane Dorcas . Daughter of James Dorcas & Isabella Buchanan. Born 4 Mar 1874. Died 1950. Buried in Williamsburg Cemetery.

 

    She married John I. "Jack" Dorcas, son of Aaron Dorcas & Elizabeth Blizzard. Born 30 Aug 1868 in Wilmot. Died 9 Sep 1946. Buried in Williamsburg Cemetery.

 

    John I Dorcas and E. Jane Dorcas had eight   children:   Ernest Edlow, Elizabeth Isobel, Duncan, Bert Mullen, William J., Earle John, Charles H., and Raymond A. Information on this family is in "William Dorcas Genealogy" by The Nashwaak Bicentennial Assoc., beginning on page 8.
