35. Edith Annie Richardson Messer. Daughter of William Messer & Isabella Torrance. Born 19 May 1896 in Tweedside. Died 15 Jul 1990 in Wauklehagen Manor, McAdam. Buried in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.

     From The Daily Gleaner, 16 Jul 1990:

    SWAN --At the Wauklehagen Manor, McAdam, July 15, 1990, Mrs Edith Annie (Messer) Swan, widow of Roy Alexander Swan of McAdam.  Survived by one son, W. Allison Swan, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, Several nieces and nephews.

    Resting at the S. O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home, 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, from where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m.  Interment in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.  Visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

    She married Alexander "Roy" Swan, son of Alexander "Sandy" Swan & Annie Burrell, 27 Sep 1922 in Manners Sutton, York Co., NB . Born 20 Oct 1888 in Tweedside. Died 1951.

    Roy and Edith lived in McAdam and had one child.

    They had the following child:
