47. Robert Embleton . Son of George Embleton & Elizabeth Twizell. Born 1841 in Eng. Died 26 Jun 1915 in Fredericton. Buried in Rural Cemetery, Fredericton. Occupation Operated A Grocery Store.

    From Colonial Farmer, 21 Sep 1867:   "Married, Manse St. Paul's, 18th inst., by Rev. Dr. Brooke, Robert Embleton, Kingsclear, York Co., and Miss Elizabeth Mott, Blissville, Sunbury Co."

    Witnesses to marriage were Joseph Embleton and ___ Mott.

    Obituary:   Death of Robert Embleton, 26 Jun 1915:

     The death occurred this morning at his home on York Street of Mr Robert Embleton, who for many years had conducted a grocery store near the C.P.R. station.   He was a native of England, but had resided here about all his life being 74 years old.   Besides his wife, he is survived by an adopted daughter, Mrs Everett Davis of this city, also four brothers, Thomas of Dumfries, Michael of McAdam, Elisha of Harvey Station and David of Milltown, N.B.   Also, one sister, Mrs Coffey of Milltown.   The funeral will take place on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. Mr. Newcomb will conduct the funeral services and interment will be made at the rural cemetery.

    He married Elizabeth Mott, 18 Sep 1867 in St. Paul's Church, Fredericton By Rev. John M. Brooke . Born in Blissville, Sunbury Co.

    They had the following children:

    From Headquarters, 27 Dec 1865: "Married Manse St. Paul's, 26th inst. by Rev. John M. Brooke, Wm Embleton, Manners Sutton, York Co., and Miss Margaret Mott, Blissville, Sunbury Co."

    From York Co NB Marriage Register C 1850-1866 (PANB):   Witnesses to marriage were Charles Mott and Mary Mott.

    He married Margaret Mott, 26 Dec 1865 in St. Paul's Church, Fredericton By Rev. Dr. John M. Brooke . Born Approx 1843 in Blissville, Sunbury Co. Died 1870. Buried in Pioneer Cemetery, Fredericton Junction, NB.

    Died 1870, age 27 years.   Wife of William Embleton   (notation on gravestone)    Buried in Pioneer Cemetery, Fredericton Junction, Gladstone Parish, Sunbury Co., NB.   Cemetery is located on south side of the "back road" about half way between Tracy and Fredericton Junction.   Grave location:   Number 10.

49. Joseph Twizell Embleton . Son of George Embleton & Elizabeth Twizell. Born 17 Feb 1845 in Harvey. Christen 22 Mar 1845 in Harvey By Rev. Daniel McCurdy . Died 14 Aug 1904. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation Farmer.

    Joseph Embleton and Miss Isabella Little, both of Manners Sutton, were married at the manse of St. Paul's Church, Fredericton, on 25 March 1870, by Rev. William Fogo of Nashwaak.   (From Colonial Farmer, Fredericton - 2 Apr 1870.)

    From York County, New Brunswick, Marriage Records, Book D, 1866-1879, compiled by Elizabeth Sewell 2001, marriage date is given as 5 Mar 1870.    Not sure which date is correct.

    He married Isabella Little, daughter of James Little & Isabella "Belle" Herbert, 25 Mar 1870 in Manse Of St. Paul's Church, Fredericton. Born 31 Dec 1849 in Harvey. Died 10 Oct 1919. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

    Witnesses to marriage were Janet Longuill and Catharine McCurdy.

    They had the following children:
