She married James Bell Messer, son of William Messer & Margaret Bell. b. 27 May 1857, Tweedside, d. 21 Sep 1917, Tweedside

Julia Ann Cecelia (Wood) Messer
d. July 15, 1905 at family home (James Bell Messer house, Tweedside, NB) while giving birth to (her 11th child) Julius 'Edison' Messer. He was raised up the hill by William and Isobel Messer, his aunt and uncle. He married Agnes 'Aggie' Morrow.
