She married James Bell Messer, son of William Messer & Margaret Bell. b. 27 May 1857, Tweedside, d. 21 Sep 1917, Tweedside Image Caption on back reads: Julia Ann Cecelia (Wood) Messer d. July 15, 1905 at family home (James Bell Messer house, Tweedside, NB) while giving birth to (her 11th child) Julius 'Edison' Messer. Based on inscription on back (see 4342 below) the photograph was taken 21 Mar 1913. His wife Julia Ann Cecelia (Wood) Messer and other of their eleven children was the daughter of Peter Wood & Mary Moffitt, b. 1 Mar 1863. Died 15 Jul 1905 in childbirth.
