She married James Cockburn (Coburn), son of John Cockburn (Coburn) & Elizabeth "Betsy" Lesley, 23 Jul 1839 in St. Paul's Church, Fredericton By John Birkmyre. Born Approx 1815 in Eng. Occupation Tailor.
From New Brunswick Courier, 3 August 1839: "Married Fredericton, 23rd ult., by Rev. J. Birkmyre, James Cockburn and Miss Ann Nesbit, both of that parish."
From York Co NB Marriage Register B 1837-1850 (PANB): Witnesses to marriage were George Cockburn and Susanna Nesbit.
No further information on James and his wife Ann.

He married Elizabeth Chambers, daughter of Matthew Chambers & Ellen "Nellie" Heughan, 13 May 1849 in York Co., NB By Rev. Daniel McCurdy. Born 1829. Died 16 Jul 1913 in Harvey. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
Elizabeth came to NB with her parents in 1844.

Mrs Mary Nesbitt Dies At Harvey Sta.
Harvey Station, Aug 17 -- The death of Mrs Mary Nesbitt, widow of the late James Nesbitt, and daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John Carmichael, took place at her home in Tweedside, near here, at the advanced age of over 80 years. Deceased had been a widow for many years, and lived with two of her sons, her last surviving daughter, Miss Margaret, having died two years ago. She leaves five sons, George, Thomas and James, in the Canadian West, and Garfield and Charles at home.
The funeral was held this afternoon, services by the pastor of Knox Presbyterian Church, Rev. George E. Knight. Interment was in the Manners Sutton Cemetery.
