    Died of Spinal disease at age of 4 years.

38. Nicholas Lister . Son of James M. Lister & Eleanor "Ellen" Piercy. Born 1 May 1859 in Harvey. Died 9 Feb 1861 in Harvey. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

    Mrs Allan Little Died Suddenly

    Found Dead in Bed At Home of Daughter in Harvey Station.

    Harvey Station, Aug 18 -- The community was shocked to learn of the death of Mrs Margaret Ann Little this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs G. Wesley Coburn.

    Mrs Little had been visiting at the Coburn cottage at Harvey Lake and yesterday complained of not feeling well so she returned during the afternoon to Manners Sutton.   This morning Mrs Coburn found her dead in bed.   She was 78 years of age and the widow of Allan Little.   Before marriage she was Miss Margaret A. Lister, daughter of James and Ellen (Piercy) Lister of Harvey.

    Mrs Little was well known and very highly regarded.   She was a member of St. Andrews United Church and prominent in all its activities.   She was also an active worker in the Red Cross Society.   She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.   Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Wesley Coburn and Mrs Roy Coburn, three sons, Louis Little of Vancouver, B.C., Arnold Little of Coburn and Ward Little of York Mills, three sisters, Mrs Albert Little of Coburn, Mrs Alex Skene and Mrs James Piercy Sr., McAdam and two brothers, David Lister of McAdam, and Ward Lister of Vancouver, B.C.

    She married David "Allan" Little, son of David Little & Margaret Ann Herbert, 30 Nov 1881 in York Co., NB By James Scott Mullin . Born 17 Jun 1858 in Harvey. Died 27 May 1903 in Harvey. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation Farmer. Religion Presbyterian.

    Witnesses to marriage were Albert Little and Jane Agnes Lister.

    Allan inherited from his father "the south side of the old homestead lot of land which he now occupies the bounds being placed by fences and well known"   (from David Little's Will).   This farm is presently being farmed by his grandson Ronald Little.

    They had the following children:

    She married John "Albert" Little, son of Matthew Little & Isabel Hay, 1 Mar 1882 in St Paul's, Fredericton By Rev. A. J. Mowatt . Born 6 Apr 1856 in Harvey. Died Dec 1932 in Harvey. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation Farmer. Religion Universalist.

    Witnesses to marriage were Ebenezer Little and Gelena Little.

    Notes from page 212, "The Little Family of Harvey Settlement, 1786-1992":

   Albert was a farmer and lived on Lot C, original Land Grant to his father Matthew Little.   This land was later farmed by Albert's son, Oscar, and then to grandson Roderick.

   Albert was married twice, his first wife, Elizabeth Coburn died in childbirth at the age of 22 years.   By his second marriage, to Jane Agnes Lister, he had four children, Oscar, Howard, Lizzie and Edwin.

    John Albert Little

    John Albert Little passed away recently at his home at Harvey, N.B.   He had been in failing health for the last few years, although confined to bed only two months.   He is survived by his wife, formerly Jane Agnes Lister; one daughter, Mrs J. Lorne Coffey, Harvey Station; and two sons, Howard M., York Mills, N.B. and Oscar B., at home, also two sisters, Mrs Robert Robison, Vancouver, and Mrs Edgar Coburn, McAdam, and one brother, Charles, Harvey.

    The funeral was held from the Universalist Church, which was filled to capacity.   Rev. Alex McKay, of the United Church, conducted the service, assisted by Rev. J. F. McKay, McAdam.   Two hymns were sung by a quartet from the United Church, while two members of the Universalist choir sang a duet.   The floral tributes were beautiful.

    Mr Little was born in Harvey in 1856.   He was a farmer and life-long Universalist.   For years he was secretary of the Farmers' Trading Company, also for years superintendent of the Sunday School.

    They had the following children:
