Harvey, NB, March 11 -- Friends of John Embleton of York Mills were shocked to learn that he had passed away very suddenly this morning following a heart attack. He had been in poor health for some time. He was a lifelong resident of Harvey and was well known and highly regarded by a large circle of friends. He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Belle Lister of Harvey; one daughter, Mrs Roy Piercy, of York Mills; one son, Lester; and five grandchildren; and one brother, David Embleton, of Coburn.

She married James "Kenneth" Embleton, son of Joseph Twizell Embleton & Isabella Little, 10 Oct 1900 in York Co., NB. Born 1873 in Harvey. Died 20 May 1930 in Harvey. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation Farmer.

Kenneth Embleton
Harvey Station, May 21 -- The death of Kenneth Embleton occurred at his home at an early hour yesterday morning after a few weeks' illness. He was 57 years of age and the second son of the late Joseph and Isobel Embleton. Deceased was well known and highly respected by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife and one son, Irvine, and one daughter, Ida, both at home; three brothers, Alfred, McAdam; John, York Mills, and David, who lives on the old homestead at Coburn.
The funeral was held from his late home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, Rev.J. H. MacLean having charge of the service.

Mrs Ida Lord
Harvey Station -- The death of Mrs Ida Lord of Harvey Station occurred at Harvey Community Hospital on August 23, following a lengthy illness. Born in Harvey in 1884, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Ann Lister.
Mrs Lord spend her married life in Ipswich, Mass., returning to take up residence in Harvey Station following the death of her husband.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs Lottie Embleton and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at the St. Andrews United Church by Rev. S. R. Jackson. Interment was made in Harvey Cemetery.
She married Raymond Lord, 15 Nov 1916. Born 28 Aug 1880. Died 24 Mar 1957.
