23. David B. Cowe. Son of James Cowe & Isabelle Donaldson. Born 26 Jan 1836 in Scot. Christen 21 Feb 1836 in Whitsome Parish Church.

From Whitsome Parish Church baptism records: James Cowe, farm servant, Hilton and Isabella Donaldson, his lawful wife, had a son named David, born 26th January 1836 and baptised on the 21st February following of the Rev. Adam Landels. (From research by Fred Kennington to Bruce Elliott, Dec 2007.)

David and Abigail had 11 children: Mary, Annie, Frances, Ruth, Susan, Pearl, Minnie, George, a little boy plus two others.

He married Abigail P. Phillips, daughter of John Phillips & Lydia, 30 Aug 1866 in York Co., NB By Ezekiel McLeod, Baptist . Born Approx 1846 in New Maryland.

Witnesses to marriage were J. McLeod and Melvina Smith.

They had the following children:
