41. Kenneth Alexander Grieve . Son of Henry "Harry" Grieve & Margaret Speedy. Born 9 Jul 1877 in Sandwick, BC. Died 10 May 1954 in St. Joseph Hospital, Comox, BC. Buried 12 May 1954 in Courtenay Civic Cemetery, Section B. Occupation Carpenter.

    (Another birth date for Kenneth is 14 Jul, not sure which is correct.)

    Kenneth and his wife Marjorie lived in Vancouver and Nanaimo until 1924, then in Courtenay until the time of their deaths.  

    Gravestone in Courtenay Civic Cemetery, Section B:   "Grieve, in Loving memory of Kenneth, 1877 - 1954; Irene, 1885 - 19--"

    He married Irene "Marjorie" Loggie, 25 Aug 1915 in Loggieville, NB. Born 11 Dec 1885 in Loggieville, NB. Died Feb 1981 in Campbell River, BC. Buried 10 Feb 1981 in Courtenay Civic Cemetery, Section B.

    They had the following children:

  168   i.   Phillip "Loggie" Grieve

  169   ii.   Roy Carl Grieve
