48. John "Albert" Cessford . Son of John "Jack" Cessford & Margaret Grieve. Born Approx 1867 in Harvey. Died 21 May 1939 in St. Paul's Hospital, Vancouver, BC. Buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Vancouver.

    Not married, died in Vancouver 21 May 1939 at age of 72.   Lived in Princeton, BC, before moving to Vancouver around 1932.

    Albert was living in Princeton, BC at age 34 and age 58.   At the time of his death he was living at the Almer Hotel, Vancouver, BC.

    From newspaper obituary (1939)

    CESSFORD -- Passed away May 21, 1939, in St. Paul's Hospital, Albert Cessford, aged 72 years.   Late of the Almer Hotel.   Remains are resting at the chapel of G. W. Hamilton Undertaking Co.   Funeral will be held Thurs., May 25, at 4 o'clock from the chapel of G. W. Hamilton Undertaking Co., Kingsway and Main at 7th Ave., Rev. G. H. Hamilton officiating. Interment lawn section, Mountain View Cemetery.
