23. Margaret B. Brown . Daughter of Thomas Messer Brown & Isabelle Miller. Born 1 Jan 1904 in Harvey Station. Died 14 Sep 1981 in Mt. Auburn Hospital, Cambridge, Mass. Buried in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, Saint John, NB.

 

    From The Telegraph Journal, 16 Sep 1981:

 

    Miss Margaret Brown

    Miss Margaret B. Brown of 44 Mount Fern Avenue in Brighton, Mass., died at the Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Mass., Monday.    (14 Sep)

 

    She was born in Harvey Station, York County, a daughter of the late Thomas and Isabel (Miller) Brown.   Miss Brown lived in the Boston area for a number of years and had nursed in various Boston hospitals.

    She is survived by one sister, Mrs Elizabeth Carruthers in Brighton, Mass.; one brother Verden Brown of Harvey Station, and several nieces and nephews.

 

    The body will rest at the Castle Funeral Home (Fallsview), 309 Lancaster Avenue, from where the funeral will be held Thursday with service at 2 pm.   Interment will be in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.

 

    Visiting hours at the funeral home are after 9 am Thursday.
