32. Mary Ann Burrell . Daughter of George Piercy Burrell & Isabella "Belle" Coburn. Born 5 Jan 1880 in Harvey. Died Before 1887.


33. Robert Walter "Simpson" Burrell . Son of George Piercy Burrell & Isabella "Belle" Coburn. Born 17 Apr 1881 in Harvey. Died 19 Apr 1943 in Millinocket, Me.

 

    Simpson and Ida lived in Millinocket, Maine, and had six children, George Stanley, Nellie Alice, Roscoe Sterling, Donald Vincent, Robert Theodore and Helen Evelyn.

 

    He married Ida Isabelle Brown, daughter of George W. Brown & Alice Eleanor Messer, 6 Jul 1910 in York Mills. Born 9 Nov 1888 in York Mills, NB . Died 14 Oct 1972 in Lincoln Nursing Home, Maine. Buried in Millinocket Cemetery, Millinocket, Maine.

 

    Witnesses to marriage were Annie Burrell and Stephen Brown.

    NB Woman Dies in Maine

    McAdam -- Relatives in McAdam have received word of the death of Mrs Ida I. Burrell of Millinocket, Me., in a Lincoln Nursing Home after a lingering illness.

 

    Born at York Mills, in 1888, she was a daughter of the late George and Alice (Messer) Brown.

 

    She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Millinocket, the Gold Star Mothers and Loyal Lodge of Orange Ladies.   She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Donald V. Henry Post, and held life membership in the Onawa Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and Natomah Rebekah Lodges.

 

    She is survived by three sons:   Stanley G. and Roscoe S., both of Millinocket, Donald V. of Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Nellie) Worchester, Lincoln, Mrs George (Helen) Casey, Millinocket; a brother, Stephen Brown, Surrey, BC, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

 

    Funeral service was held from First Baptist Church with interment in the Millinocket Cemetery.

 

    She was predeceased by her husband Robert Simpson Burrell April 19, 1943 and a son Robert, killed in World War II Mar 25, 1944.

34. Gertrude Maggie Burrell . Daughter of George Piercy Burrell & Isabella "Belle" Coburn. Born 31 Dec 1882 in Harvey.

 

    She married Hurd H. Grass, 30 Dec 1903 in York Co., NB. Born in Rusagonis.

 

    Witnesses to marriage were George H. Coburn and Annie Burrell.

 

    No further information.


35. Lizzie May Burrell . Daughter of George Piercy Burrell & Isabella "Belle" Coburn. Born 30 Apr 1885 in Harvey. Died 15 Aug 1898 in Harvey.

 

    Died at age 13 years 4 months.   First name was probably Elizabeth.


36. Annie Winnifred Burrell . Daughter of George Piercy Burrell & Isabella "Belle" Coburn. Born 5 Jul 1887 in Harvey. Died 22 Sep 1958 in St. Stephen. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

    Harvey Couple Wed

    At the home of Mr and Mrs George Burrell, Harvey Station, yesterday afternoon, their youngest daughter, Annie, was united in marriage to James Essensa, son of Mrs Elizabeth Essensa.   The ceremony was performed by Rev. William Gudwood, of Prince William, in the absence of the pastor, Rev. Mr Mcpherson, who has gone to Victoria County for three weeks in the interests of the Sunday schools.   The ceremony was witnessed by about 100 guests, who afterward partook of the wedding supper provided by the bride's parents.   The bride received many valuable presents including furniture and other household goods.   Mr and Mrs Essensa will reside at Harvey Station.

    She married James Hazen Essensa, son of Gardiner Essensa Jr. & Elizabeth Moody, Jul 1912 in Harvey Station. Born 16 Jul 1887. Christen 3 Nov 1887 in Harvey Presbyterian Church Records. Died 8 Apr 1965 in Bay Road, Charlotte Co. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

 

    They had the following children:
