104. Margaret Ann Kelley "Maggie" Swan . Daughter of Alexander "Sandy" Swan & Annie Burrell. Born 20 Aug 1902 in Tweedside. Died 15 Jun 1984 in Dover-Foxcroft Hospital, Maine. Buried in Pine Tree Cemetery, Brownville Jct., Maine.

Brownville Junction -- Margaret A. Coburn, 81, died at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital June 15, 1984. She was born in Tweedside, NB, Aug 20, 1902, daughter of Alexander and Annie (Burrell) Swan. She was a member of Brownville Jct. Service Club and the Brownville Jct. Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband Charles Coburn of Brownville Jct.; four sons, Bertram, Duane, Jackie and Gerald, all of Brownville Jct.; two daughters, Doris McAfee of Portland and Gayle Foulkes of Williamsburg; a brother, Stephen Swan of Tweedside, NB; a sister, Alice Coburn of Brownville Jct.; 15 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Lary Funeral Home, Milo, 1 pm Sunday, with the Rev. Joseph Beardsly officiating. Burial will be in Pine Tree Cemetery, Brownville Jct.
She married Charles Everett Coburn, son of John G. Coburn & Margaret Ann Nesbitt. Born 23 Sep 1895 in Harvey. Died 25 May 1987 in Maine.
105. Harry Sterling Burrell . Son of Thomas A. S. Burrell & Elizabeth Jane "Lizzie" Swan. Born 18 Jan 1889 in Tweedside. Christen 8 Nov 1892 in Harvey Presbyterian Church. Died 21 Sep 1965 in Fort Frances, Ont. Buried in Fort Frances Cemetery.
Harry was raised in Tweedside, NB. He left home at age 17 years and went to the Swan River district of Manitoba, and worked at the Red Deer Lumber Co. at Barrows, Manitoba, north of Swan River.
Harry, his wife Amy and their two children lived in the Bowsman, Manitoba area until about 1924, when they moved to Rainy Lake (by Fort Frances, Ontario) where Harry was the foreman of the J. A. Matheu sawmill. They moved into Fort Frances about 1929.

Harry S. Burrell
Harry Sterling Burrell, 544 Scott St., passed away on Tuesday, Sept 21 in La Verendrye hospital. He was 76 years of age.
Born in Tweedside, NB, on January 18, 1889, Mr Burrell came to Fort Frances in 1923 and was a superintendent for J. A. Mathieu Ltd. until his retirement in 1957.
Mr Burrell was a 25-year member of Cascade Lodge No. 351, I.O.O.F. and a member of Knox United Church.
Predeceased in 1942 by his wife Amy, on August 25, 1943, he married in Port Arthur the former Velda Buchanan who survives. A son Roy, a daughter, Mrs Allan Avis, of Fort Frances and nine grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept 24 at 2 pm from Knox United Church with interment in Fort Frances cemetery. Rev. Harvey Moats will officiate.
He first married Amy Elizabeth Watkins, Approx 1915 in Manitoba. Born 3 May 1892 in Aston, England. Died 1942 in Fort Frances, Ont.
Amy came to Canada in 1897 at age 5 years, and her family settled in Bowsman, north of Swan River, Manitoba.
They had the following children:

He second married Velda Buchanan, 25 Aug 1943 in Port Arthur, ON. Born Nov 1905. Died 30 Aug 1995 in Fort Frances, ON.
