88. Mabel May Johnston . Daughter of Thomas Coburn Johnston & Nancy "Isabel" Burrell. Born 27 Jun 1894 in McAdam, NB. Died 28 Oct 1966. Buried in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.

    She married Roy Grant. Born 1885. Died 1982. Buried in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.


89. Gordon Johnston . Son of Thomas Coburn Johnston & Nancy "Isabel" Burrell. Born 28 Nov 1899 in Debec, NB.

    He married Olive Perkins.


90. Robert Burrell Johnston . Son of Thomas Coburn Johnston & Nancy "Isabel" Burrell. Born 1907. Died 3 May 1991 in McAdam. Buried in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam. Occupation CP Railway.

    JOHNSTON -- At his residence, McAdam, N.B., on May 3, 1991, Robert Burrell Johnston; survived by five sons, Carl of Stoneycreek, Ont., Ronald and Paul of McAdam, Arnold and David of Fredericton, 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

    Resting at Voice of Pentecost Church, Harvey Road, McAdam, from where funeral service will be held on Monday, May 6 at 2:30 p.m.   Interment in the Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.   Visiting hours at the church on Saturday after 7 p.m. and all Sunday.   Funeral arrangements are made by S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen.

    Robert Johnston

    The funeral service for Robert Burrell Johnston, 83, 11 Maple Street, McAdam was held recently from the Voice of Pentecost Church, McAdam, with Pastor Raymond Roach officiating.   He was predeceased by his wife Viola (McGee) Johnston; his parents, Thomas and Nancy (Burrell) Johnston; brothers George and Gordon and sister Mabel Grant.

    He is survived by five sons, Karl and his wife Violet, Stoney Creek, Ontario; Ronald and his wife Beatrice, Paul and his wife Thelma both of McAdam; Arnold and his wife Donna, David and his wife Rose, both of Fredericton, 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

    He was employed by CP Railway before his retirement.

    Pallbearers were five sons, Karl, Ronald, Paul, Arnold, David and nephew Dow Estabrooks.   Interment took place at Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.

   He married Viola E. McGee, daughter of Alexander McGee & Adelaide Rebecca Duplisea. Born 1906. Died 13 Sep 1983 in MacLean Memorial Hospital, McAdam. Buried in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.


    From The Daily Gleaner, 13 Sep 1983:

    JOHNSTON:   Mrs Viola E. Johnston, wife of Robert B. Johnston, 11 Maple Street, McAdam, passed away at the McLean Memorial Hospital, Sept 13, 1983, after a lengthy illness.   She is survived by her husband, five sons, Karl of Stoney Creek, Ontario, Ronald and Paul of McAdam, Arnold and David of Fredericton, 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs Earl Lint (Agnes) of Fredericton, one brother William (Billy) McGee of Harvey Station.

    The body is resting at Voice of Pentecost Church, McAdam, where service will be held on Thursday, Sept 15, 1983.
