45. Ella Marion Hay . Daughter of John Alexander Hay & Elizabeth Burrell. Born 12 Dec 1878 in Harvey. Died 1972 in Vancouver, BC. Occupation School Teacher.

    Birth date in PANB records:   12 Dec 1877.  

 

     In Vancouver in 1934.

    She married George William Humble, 1902. Born 7 Jun 1870 in NB. Died 18 May 1944 in Vancouver, BC.

    George William Humble was son of George H. Humble and Jane Mary Elliot.

46. Albert Alexander "Ab" Hay . Son of John Alexander Hay & Elizabeth Burrell. Born 17 Feb 1880 in Harvey Sta. Died 30 Jan 1963 in Orchard Nursing Home, The Barony. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation Car Inspector CPR.

 

    Died 30 Jan 1963, age 83 yr 4 mo 13 days at Orchard Nursing Home, The Barony.   At nursing home 13 months.   Car Inspector with CPR, last worked 1946.

 

    He married Mary Elizabeth "Pearl" Swan, daughter of James T. Swan & Jessie Cleghorn Wood, 26 Sep 1917. Born 14 Aug 1891 in Harvey. Died 28 Jan 1959. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

47. Annie May Hay . Daughter of John Alexander Hay & Elizabeth Burrell. Born 31 Aug 1883 in Harvey.

    Living in Boston in 1934.

 

  She married George M. McCutcheon, 10 May 1905 in Harvey Presbyterian Church Records. Born in Magaguadavic, N.B.

48. Cora Davis Hay . Daughter of John Alexander Hay & Elizabeth Burrell. Born 21 Jun 1888 in Harvey, NB. Died 9 Dec 1974 in Harvey. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

    Died 9 Dec 1974, age 86 yr. at her home.

 

    She married George Thomas Swan, son of John "Jack" Swan & Mary Simpson Rutherford, 13 Mar 1907 in Harvey. Born 3 Nov 1887 in Harvey, NB. Died 5 Nov 1970 in Harvey Community Hospital, Harvey. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation CPR Foreman.

 

    George and his wife Cora Hay lived in Brownville Junction, Maine.   George worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway for 46 years.   He was foreman of the Car Department and retired in 1952.   Several years after retirement they returned to Harvey to live.

 

    They had the following children:
