111. Chester William Cleghorn. Son of Robert "Bob" Cleghorn & Mary Jane James. Born 17 Jun 1908 in South Tweedside. Died 9 Nov 1985 in Harvey Community Hospital. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation Lumberman, Carpenter, Guide.

Chester W. Cleghorn
Funeral services for Chester William Cleghorn, 77, of South Tweedside, Harvey Station were held from Swan's Funeral Home, Harvey Station with Rev. David Dewar officiating.

He was a retired lumberman, carpenter and guide. He was a son of the late Robert and Mary (James) Cleghorn, Harvey Station. He is survived by his wife Ruth L. (Dunham) Cleghorn, two sons, Dale and his wife Janet, Reid, his wife Meredith and four grandchildren, Nicole, Garth, Tiffany and Brent Cleghorn; one brother, Stewart, Woodstock; one sister Helen, St. Martins and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by five brothers, Herb, Ray, Russell, Harry and Glen and one sister Bertha.

Pallbearers were Bert Messer, Alton Cleghorn, George Cleghorn, Jack Cleghorn, Corey Cleghorn and Clayton Piercy. Flowerbearers were Eric Piercy, Chris and Curtis Messer. Interment in Harvey Community Cemetery.

He married Ruth Louise Dunham, daughter of Frank George (Wright) Dunham & Etta Luella Grant, 18 Dec 1943. Born 6 Nov 1924.

They had the following children:
