From newspaper clipping (1916)
On Wednesday, July 12th, at 3 pm a very quiet and pleasing event took place at the home of Mr and Mrs John Bell, when their youngest daughter, Beatrice Victoria, was united in marriage with Norman Alward Messer of Upper Tweedside. The ceremony was performed by the Rev J. T. McKay. The bride was becomingly attired in a gown of white embroidered net lace and satin, carrying a bouquet of white roses. After the ceremony the guests repaired to the dining room, where a dainty luncheon was served. The presents were numerous and valuable. Mr and Mrs Messer will reside in Tweedside, where they are followed by the good wishes of their many friends.

She married Norman Alwood Messer, son of John Messer & Margaret Agnes "Maggie" Moffitt, 12 Jul 1916 in York Co., NB . Born 11 Aug 1893 in Tweedside. Died 6 Aug 1979 in Oromocto. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation Farmer.
