93. Mary Elizabeth "Mamie" Cleghorn. Daughter of Alexander "Sandy" Cleghorn & Rachel L. Breen. Born 30 Aug 1899 in Flume Ridge. Died 9 Jul 1990 in St. Stephen. Buried in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.

Mary Elizabeth Christie
Mary Elizabeth Christie passed away July 9, 1990 at home in her 91st year. She was born in Flume ridge and was the last surviving member of the Alexander Cleghorn family of nine. She was the wife of the late Roy Christie. After the passing of her husband, twenty three years ago, she resided with her daughter, Mrs Mary Noble in St. Stephen.
She is survived by three sons Roy, Arthur and Ronald of Harvey Station and two daughters Mary Noble of St. Stephen and Phyllis Roberts of Harcourt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand, great grand and great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Stuart, Joseph and Jeffrey Christie and her great grandsons James and Roy Christie and Jason Anderson.
Funeral services were held at S. O. Mehan Funeral Home with Rev. G. Walls officiating. Interment was in the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.

CHRISTIE
At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, on July 9, 1990, Mrs Mary Elizabeth Christie in her 91st year, widow of Roy Christie of 73 Queensway, St. Stephen. Survived by three sons, Ronald, Roy and Arthur all of Harvey Station, two daughters, Phyllis Roberts of Harcourt, Mary Noble and Sylvanus Noble of St. Stephen; two step-sons, Earle Christie of Harvey and Norton of Saint John; one step-daughter, Irene Hurney, Boston, Mass.; grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews..........

She married Roy Christie, son of William James Christie & Elizabeth Jane Dorcas. Born 16 Nov 1886. Died 4 Mar 1967. Buried in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.

Roy and Maggie lived at Christie Ridge, and had three children. (After Maggie's death, Roy married Mary Elizabeth "Mamie" Cleghorn.)

They had the following children:
