43. William Henry Coburn . Son of William Cockburn (Coburn) & Jane Robison. Born 10 Oct 1852 in Harvey. Died 9 Nov 1928 in Nanaimo, BC.

    From 1881 Census, Nanaimo & Nanoose Bay, Vancouver Island, BC, William was 26 years old, born in NB, single, Presbyterian and occupation:   Grocer.

    He married Sarah Ellen Parkin, 29 Aug 1881 in Nanaimo, BC.


44. Jessie Coburn . Daughter of William Cockburn (Coburn) & Jane Robison. Born 4 Oct 1854 in Harvey.

   Jessie and her husband Thomas H. Nason lived in Woodstock, N.B., and had five children:   May, Herb, Daisy, Sadie and Roy.

    She married Thomas H. Nason, 3 Feb 1877 in St. Paul's Church, Fredericton By John M. Brooke .

    Witnesses to marriage were Robert Coburn and Lizzie Webb.

     Thomas was from Montreal, Quebec.


45. Stephen Robison Coburn . Son of William Cockburn (Coburn) & Jane Robison. Born 24 Nov 1856 in Harvey. Died 20 Nov 1929 in Nanaimo, BC.

    From 1881 Census, Comox & Alberni, Vancouver Island, Stephen was 24 years old, born in NB, single, Presbyterian, and a Logger.

    Information on Stephen, his wife Frances, and three children taken from 1901 Census, Vancouver Island, Courtenay area.

    He married Frances Emma Wenburn, 1 Oct 1885 in Nanaimo, BC. Born 17 Jun 1866 in BC. Died 24 Jun 1943 in Nanaimo, BC.

    They had the following children:

46. Isabelle "Belle" Coburn . Daughter of William Cockburn (Coburn) & Jane Robison. Born 8 Nov 1858 in Harvey. Died 3 Oct 1935 in Hartland, N.B. Buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Hartland.

    Belle and Andrew Aiton had ten children:   David Albert, Frank Andrew, Herbert John, George Webster, Robert Leslie, Bessie Jane, Helen Grace, Theresa, Howard Paul and Grace.   (Daughter Tressa Werdlew Aiton was born 13 Mar 1898 in Hartland, a graduate of Mt. A. Univ, and taught music.   married Roy L. Stevens, and had three daughters.   Buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Hartland.)   (And Helen married ---- Berry.)

    She married Andrew Aiton, son of Andrew Aiton & Isabel. Born 2 Apr 1853 in Ayreshire, Scotland. Died 9 Jun 1924 in Carleton Co., NB .

    Andrew Aiton came to Canada in 1853 from Scotland, and settled in Saint John, N.B.

    They had the following children:
