19. Margaret "Emma" Darling Little . Daughter of David Little & Margaret Ann Herbert. Born 22 Aug 1865 in Harvey. Died Approx 1898.

    Information on Emma is incomplete.   After her marriage to Leonard she lived in Walla Walla, Washington, where son Norman was born, and in Rockyford, Colorado where son Cyrus died.   It is believed that she and Leonard died of influenza around the same time as their son Cyrus died--year unknown.   Son Norman was raised by his grandmother Little and aunt Mary Briggs after the death of his parents.   (Norman was four or five years old when his parents died.)   Emma and Leonard had two children:   Cyrus and Norman.

    She married Leonard Whitford. Died Approx 1898.

    Leonard was the s/o John W. Whitford and Sarah Jane, who lived in Yonkers, New York.   (John's Will was probated 4 Dec 1911 at Catskill, New York.)

    Leonard was married first to a woman whose maiden name was Norton (first name not known).   By this marriage he had three children:   Eva L. b. 17 Nov 1875, d. 14 Nov 1894; William E. b. 1878, d. 1904; and Vernon b. 26 Dec 1881, d. 28 June 1948 - 66 yr.   All died of tuberculosis and are buried in Norton plot between Westerlo and South Westerlo (State not given) near the location of the Norton farm.   Vernon lived on his grandfather Norton's farm until 1912 or 1913, and after the death of his grandparents and mother, he moved to the village of Westerlo where he had a feed and grain store and also did teaming work.   He was married by no children.   (Information from papers held by Marvin Whitford.)

20. John Little . Son of James Little & Isabella "Belle" Herbert. Born 1848 in Harvey. Died 21 May 1900 in Harvey. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

    He first married Agnes Lister, daughter of David Lister & Janet Gass, 21 Aug 1878 in York Co., NB By Edward Roberts . Born 24 May 1859 in Harvey. Died 30 Mar 1880 in Harvey.

    Witnesses to marriage were Nicholas Lister, Margaret Little and James Little.

    Agnes was the first wife of John Little,   and after her death he   married secondly Hepsibah (Hepsie) Parker.

    He second married Hepsibah "Hepsie" Parker, daughter of William Parker & Jane McLean, 21 Apr 1885 in York Co., NB By William Ross, Presbyterian. Born 1858. Died 3 May 1940 in Harvey. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

    Witnesses to marriage were James Little and Annie F. Parker.

    Mrs Hepsie Wilson, aged 83 was well known in that part of the courtry.

    Harvey, May 10--The death of Mrs Hepsie Wilson occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs Hillard Johnston on Friday, May 3 at the age of 83.   She leaves to mourn two daughters, Mrs Hillard Johnston and Gladys Little, by her first marriage.   John Little of York Mills and one son, Hilberry predeceased her in the year of 1931.   Mrs Wilson had many friends, both old and young, who always found her a jovial and helpful companion.   Her peaceful mind and trustful attitude was felt by all who came in contact with her.   She was a member of the United Church of Harvey.   Rev. Ross Robbins officiated, assisted by Rev. Allison McLean of the Presbyterian Church of Harvey.   A male quartette, Wesley Coburn, Elwood McLean, Robbie Dorcas and Gilbert Robison, all of Harvey, sang very beautifully three selections.

    They had the following children:
