76. Emily Coburn . Daughter of Ralph Cockburn (Coburn) & Emma Elkington. Born 31 Aug 1862 in Harvey. Died 2 Feb 1933 in Harvey. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

    Witnesses to marriage were John E. Coburn and Jennet A. Little.

    From newspaper obituary - 1933:

    Mrs Emily Little

    Harvey Station, York Co., Feb 12 -- The death of Mrs Emily Little occurred at the home of her son, Sterling, with whom she resided.   Mrs Little resided here all her life and was in her 71st year.   She is survived by four sons, Wesley, Saint John; Gilbert, Brownville Junction; Norman, Harvey, and Sterling; one daughter, Annie, at home, and one sister, Mrs Amos Little, of Harvey; two brothers reside in Manitoba; also surviving are 12 grandchildren.   Her husband, William Little, died 10 months ago.

    The funeral was held from her home.   Rev. A. MacKay, of the United Church cunducted the service, assisted by Rev. George Knight.   Favorite hymns were sung by the choir of the Universalist Church, of which she was a member.   Interment was made in the family lot in Harvey cemetery.

    She married William Embleton Little, son of John Little & Cherry Jane Embleton, 29 Apr 1885 in Harvey, York Co., NB By Rev. A. J. Mowatt . Born 15 Nov 1861 in Harvey. Died 4 Apr 1932 in Harvey. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation Farmer, Mail Driver.

    William Embleton Little and his wife Emily Coburn had five children.   For more information on this family, see page 301 in "The Little Family of Harvey Settlement."

    From newspaper obituary - 1932:

    Dying, Attends To Faithful Horse Before Passing Away

    Harvey Station, York Co., April 12 -- Taken ill suddenly just after he had stabled his horse for the night and entered his home, William E. Little, Harvey, rural mail driver for several years, died almost immediately.   He had been overcome while returning home after delivering mails but managed to get home and attend to his horse, his faithful worker for several years, before he greeted his family and succumbed.

    Little was a son of the late John and Cherry Jane Little and was born on Nov. 15, 1861.   He resided at Harvey all his life and operated a large farm as well as attending to the duties of mail driver.   At the time of his death he was a director of the Farmers' Trading Co.

    He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Emily Coburn; four sons, Norman, Harvey; Gilbert, Brownville, Me.; Wesley, Saint John, and Sterling, at home; one daughter, Annie, who had left for Portland, Me., the day her father died; and seven brothers, Matthew, Robert, J. Ephraim, Isaiah, David and Stephen, all of Vananda, B.C., and Nelson, McAdam.   There are also 12 grandchildren.

    They had the following children:

77. George Albert Coburn . Son of Ralph Cockburn (Coburn) & Emma Elkington. Born 22 Jan 1865 in NB. Died 14 Dec 1932 in Kamloops, BC. Occupation Farmer.

    George moved from Winnipeg to Chase, BC, around 1885 where he worked as a farmer.   He died in Kamloops 14 Dec 1932 at age 67 years and 10 months.   Two daughters:   Ethel and Hazel.   May have had other children.

    He married Susan Jennie McBryan. Born Approx 1873. Died 2 Apr 1921 in Kamloops, BC.

    Died in Kamloops, BC on 2 Apr 1921 at the age of 47 years 11 months.

    They had the following children:
