96. Margaret Agnes "Maggie" Cleghorn. Daughter of William "Bill" Cleghorn & Barbara Elizabeth "Betty" Piercy. Born 4 Mar 1890 in South Tweedside. Died 3 Oct 1917 in Victoria Hospital, Fredericton. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

MRS. ROY CHRISTIE
Friends of Mrs Roy Christie will be sadly shocked to learn of her death, which occurred October 3rd at the Victoria Hospital in Fredericton, where she undergone an operation for appendicitis.
Mrs Christie was formerly Miss Margaret Cleghorn of Flume Ridge and was united in marriage with Roy Christie of Thomaston, York county, July 3rd, 1912. Besides a sorrowing husband, she is survived by three small children, Earle, aged four, Irene two, and Norton, nine months old, also her mother, Mrs Wm Cleghorn and one sister, Mrs A. Dorcas of Thomaston.
The funeral took place Friday afternoon, from her late home, interment being in the Harvey cemetery. The pall bearers were Geo Smith, Arthur Charters, Ernest Piercy and Anthony Christie.


Mrs Christie was twenty seven years of age and was a member of the Presbyterian church at Brockway. She was a bright, cheerful young woman, and will be greatly missed throughout the community.

She married Roy Christie, son of William James Christie & Elizabeth Jane Dorcas, 3 Jul 1912 in York Co., NB. Born 16 Nov 1886. Died 4 Mar 1967. Buried in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
Roy and Maggie lived at Christie Ridge, and had three children. After Maggie's death, Roy married Mary Elizabeth "Mamie" Cleghorn.


They had the following children:
