205. Maude Marguerite Little. Daughter of Robert Little & Christina "Tina" Coburn (link to Coburn family pages). Born 18 Nov 1887 in Harvey. Died 6 Apr 1986 in Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.

Harvey Station, July 28 -- On Wednesday afternoon at the residence of the bride's parents at Manners Sutton, Miss Maud Little, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Little, was united in marriage to Robert Dorcas, of Minneapolis (Minn.), formerly of Manners Sutton. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. F. McKay in the presence of a considerable number of invited guests after which the usual festivities were indulged in. The newly married pair will reside at Minneapolis and expect to leave for their future home in a few days. The bride is one of the most popular of our young ladies and has the best wishes of all.

DORCAS: At Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, on April 6, 1986, Maud Marguerite Dorcas of Harvey Station in her 99th year, widow of Robert Dorcas. Survived by three daughters, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
Resting at Swan Funeral Home, Harvey Station, until Tuesday where prayers will be held at 2 pm followed by funeral service at St. Andrews United Church at 2:30 pm, Rev. David Chesney officiating. Entombment at Harvey Cemetery, interment at a later date. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.

Maud Dorcas
The funeral of Maud Dorcas was held from St. Andrews United Church, Harvey, Rev. David Chesney officiated.
She was born in Harvey November 18, 1887, the daughter of the late Robert and Christina (Coburn) Little. She married Robert Dorcas who predeceased her 22 years ago.
She is survived by three daughter, Mrs Douglas Delaney, McAdam; Mrs Lawrence Bartlett, St. Andrews and Mrs Claude Swan, Harvey Station, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons Stuart Swan, Dr. Robert Bartlett, Hugh Bartlett, Paul Delaney, Randy Watson and a dear friend Joseph Duffin.
She married Robert Virtue Dorcas, son of Andrew Thomas Dorcas & Margaret "Maggie" Coburn, 26 Jul 1916. Born 6 Jun 1886 in Harvey. Died 7 Oct 1964 in Harvey Community Hospital. Buried in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. Occupation Farmer.
Robbie and Maude lived in Minnesota for a few years, their oldest child was born there, then returned to Harvey and settled on the farm where Robbie was brought up, Lot No. 8 (Land Grant to John Cockburn/Coburn). One of the first framed houses in Harvey was built on this lot, and it was the stage coach stop for the area.

Robert Dorcas
Harvey Station -- The funeral service of Robert V. Dorcas was held to St. Andrews United Church, Harvey Station for service with the Rev. William Randall officiating. Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased, Fred Little, Charles Little, Stanley Little, Cleighton Little, Wallace Coburn and Frederick Essensa. Interment was in the Harvey Community Cemetery.
Mr Dorcas, whose death occurred in the Harvey Community Hospital, was born June 6, 1886, at Harvey Station, York County, a son of the late Andrew and Margaret (Coburn) Dorcas. A life time resident there, with the exception of seventeen years in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he was a member of St. Andrew's United Church and a former choir member of that church. He served at one time on the York County Council.
Surviving are his wife, the former Maude M. Little; three daughters, Mrs Claude Swan, Harvey Station, Mrs Marion Bartlett, Bartletts Mills, N.B.; Mrs Douglas Delaney, McAdam; one brother, Keith Dorcas, Saint John and one sister, Mrs Charles Essensa, Brownville Junction, Maine.
They had the following children:
