183. Harry "Lewis" Little. Son of David "Allan" Little & Margaret Ann Lister (link to Lister family pages). Born 28 Sep 1887 in Harvey. Died 8 Mar 1961 in Vancouver, BC.

    Lewis left Harvey approximately 1908 and moved to British Columbia, where he married Sylvia, and they lived in Vancouver.  They had  no children, but Sylvia had a daughter, Eileen, who married Homer Hamilton.  Eileen died from a brain tumor in 1946/47.  Sylvia remarried, and moved to Washington.  (The above information from close family members, however from marriage records it would appear that his wife's name was Sophia Brown, instead of Sylvia, unless he was married twice.)

    From newspaper obituary - 1961:

    Louis H. Little

    Harvey Station -- Word has been received here of the death of Louis H. Little, which occurred in Vancouver.  He was 73.

    Mr Little was born in Harvey Station, the son of the late Allan and Margaret Ann Little.  He had lived in Vancouver for the past 49 years.

    Surviving are his wife, two sisters, Mrs G. Wesley Coburn and Mrs Roy Coburn; two brothers, Arnold Little and Ward Little, all of Harvey.

 

   He married Sophia Brown, 29 Sep 1923 in Vancouver, BC.

    No further information.
