The family wishes to extend thanks to the staff of Christie Gardens Nursing Home for their care and many kindnesses to our mother over the past number of years. Many thanks also to the staff on the 17th floor of Mount Sinai Hospital in recent days. The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A. W. She married Judson Harold Gregg, son of William Gregg & Cordelia Williams, 6 Nov 1929 in Saint John, NB. Born 18 Nov 1898 in Public Landing, NB. Died 17 Sep 1975 in Toronto. Buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.
After graduation from high school, Jud worked in a Civil Engineering Office in Detroit, MI, while continuing his studies. Jud and his wife Dora were on their way back to Detroit from their wedding when they heard the tragic news "The Stock Market had Busted" and "everything was flat". So they hopped off the train at Toronto. There was no work anywhere. Jud came home one day with the news that he had taken on a general food store. This kept them off welfare and both busy for 15 years. After this Jud was hired on as a Stock Manager with E. L. Ruddy Sign Co. where he worked until he retired 18 Nov 1965.
They had two children: Pat and Bill.
They had the following children:
689 i. Patricia Eldine Gregg
690 ii. William Hugh "Bill" Gregg
